An exclusive charity auction of artworks made from casts of well-known musicians
Eleven well-known musicians had plaster casts made of themselves. Established visual artists then transformed those casts into unique works of art. On Saturday 21 November they will be auctioned during SoundCast, an exclusive charity evening at HA Concerts in Ghent. The full proceeds of the auction go to the non-profit Kunst aan Bed. The project was started by Prof. Dr. Tessa Kerre, a haematologist at Ghent University Hospital, and brings art to patients staying in hospital: room service for the arts.
